Prior to Udacity, Ana did venture capital investing for Kapor Capital, a seed stage social impact VC firm in Oakland, CA. Much of that work related to educational investments and a deep participation in diversity initiatives through the Kapor Center for Social impact. Her personal passion lies in increasing diversity in Silicon Valley, and she frequently puts on ad-hoc events to further this goal. She also volunteers with nonprofits looking to increase the pipeline for kids of color to enter into STEM professions.
