Audrey Cheng

CEO & Co-Founder

Audrey is the founder and CEO of Moringa School, where she’s accelerating high-potential individuals across Africa to become world-class software engineers. Graduated from Northwestern University with a journalism and global health degree, she found a love of programming as a scalable and effective way to change the world for the better. She’s driven to level the playing ground for Africans through technology, to unleash the human potential and to bridge the gap between the Western world and emerging markets by creating more access to high-quality technical education, which she believes will transform the continent as a whole.

Before Moringa School, Audrey worked for Savannah Fund, a venture capital firm investing in early-stage tech startups across Africa.

In the next 10 years, Moringa School plans to scale across Africa and continue to deliver world-class education to each and every student. Currently, Moringa School consists of Junior Moringa School for beginners, Moringa School – our full-time, immersive program, and Moringa DevShop, where graduates take on client work from U.S. and European companies.
