Kriz Bell is a writer and filmmaker, with a fondness for f-words like foodie, feminism and family. Kriz’ background in media started with 16mm black and white student films in a land far away, fondly referred to as San Francisco in the early 90’s. From there she spent the next decade happily paying her dues as the right-hand to New York Times best-selling author Terry McMillan.
Catapulted into Silicon Valley by dot-com boom 2.0, she has been lending her skills as a storyteller to agencies and the brands that love them, like Google, Apple and most recently the Anita Borg Institute. An avid traveler, blogger (It’s Wonderful Being A Girl) and single mama, Kriz believes that #RepresentationMatters. With a TV show, Hens in the Hood, in development, she is thrilled to be able to use her power for good. Her priority remains working on projects that bring women’s stories to the forefront. She’s known online as @krizbell
