Lisa Mae Brunson

Founder

Lisa Mae is a Creative Visionary, Speaker, & Social Innovator that is committed to impacting humanity on a global scale. She is founder of Wonder Women Tech, a conference celebrating women in STEAM, two hackathons–Hacks 4 Humanity and Wonder Women Hacks, and EqualityTV, a digital media and e-commerce platform highlighting marginalized and underrepresented communities. She has also launched various social campaigns like the ‘Love, Hugs and Inspiration Campaign’, ’21 Days of Fearlessness’ and ’40 Days of Kindness.’ She is passionate about human rights and issues surrounding gender equality, LGBTQ, and racial equality. She is involved with several nonprofit organizations and was on the Board of Directors for the Alcoholism Center for Women. She is on the Advisory Board for the California Women’s Conference, founding member of Uncoded, an open source tech community dedicated to changing the tech culture in Long Beach, CA and speaks at conferences and universities. Lisa Mae organizes community projects, like the “I Am Equality” photographic campaign, and has hugged over 8,000 people. As a visionary, Lisa Mae is passionate about changing the world and building a new ecosystem in media and technology. On sunny days, you’ll find her skipping in public and hugging people on the street!
