Alicia Castillo Holley

Alicia Castillo Holley is a serial entrepreneur, author and investor. She is the founder of the Wealthing® Institute, a boutique organization teaching high-impact entrepreneurship. She is also a member of Sand Hill Angels. Castillo Holley began her career as an academic on Agronomy before leading the Product Development department for a Bayer-Shell joint venture, Plantagro, in her native country, Venezuela. She created Chile’s first Centre for Entrepreneurship at the Universidad Adolfo Ibañez, and later the country’s first seed capital fund: Capital Semilla. Additionally, she has started companies in wholesales, education, consulting, software, and finance. She has lived in 6 countries and visited over 100.

Castillo Holley has been a panel member of several international business plan competitions, including WRI, Babson College, and Western Australia’s Inventor of the Year. She was a co-chair for the 2012 Academic Acere – Diana (Gender) Conference on Entrepreneurship. She teaches business at Santa Clara University and mentors at Stanford Engineering School. She holds an Engineering degree, a Master of Science, an MBA and a PhD.
